The Martlet in our University Crest
Ì첩ÌåÓý’s crest includes the symbol of a martlet. A martlet in English heraldry is a mythical bird without feet which never roosts from the moment of its birth until its fall to death.
Martlets are proposed to be continuously on the wing. The martlet symbolises Ì첩ÌåÓý students’ desire to keep moving forward and for life-long learning.
